Description of the series:

China in the year 2010 is still hard to grasp. Motor of the global economy with a single market of a billion customers? Global source for cheap workforce and fresh intelligence? Or smart copycats without business ethics in what is at its base a totalitarian system?

Whether we feel attracted to or are repulsed by what we hear and see of this great nation – the future will not allow us to ignore the developments in China. In 2009, China overtook Germany as the world's largest exporter – and its economy is still growing at a breathtaking pace. How we can partner China and compete with her is a burning question that needs an answer.
At our Forum, we will hear bewildering insights from businessmen and scientists covering aspects like climate change, urbanization or cultural exchange on the one hand and specific business cases on the other hand.

Unusual angles will be highlighted by our participants from the spheres of art, design, education and sport. But, as is the case every year, we will owe the special flavour of our event for the most part to our audience of entrepreneurs, scientists, managers, venture capitalists and scholars from all parts of the world.
