Noch nie von der Hommingberger Gepardenforelle gehört? Google listet dazu fast 100.000 Ergebnisse, obwohl sie vor gut 5 Jahren gänzlich unbekannt war. Doch wie schafft man es bei so vielen Suchergebnissen, einen Platz ganz vorn zu ergattern?
Unter Suchmaschinenoptimierung versteht man Maßnahmen, die dazu dienen, dass
Webseiten im Suchmaschinenranking auf höheren Plätzen erscheinen. Dazu muss
untersucht werden, wie Suchmaschinen ihre Ergebnisse erhalten und bewerten, um
darauf aufbauend Webseiten an die Erkenntnisse anzupassen.
Die Vorträge beleuchten dabei verschiedene Aspekte der Suchmaschinenoptimierung. Daneben läuft ein SEO-Wettbewerb, in dem es darum geht, zu einem fiktiven Begriff möglichst gute Suchmaschinenplatzierungen zu erreichen.
Der fiktive Begriff ist dabei der Hagelberger Perlenigel. Eines dieser Exemplare ist im Bild zu dieser Veranstaltung zu bewundern.
