Im Rahmen des Bachelorpodiums 2009 haben die Studenten des Hasso-Plattner-Instituts bewiesen, wie sie lösungsorientiert, kreativ und innovativ arbeiten können. In zwölf Teams von vier bis acht Studenten hatten sie im Rahmen des Bachelorprojekts größere praktische Aufgaben der Informationstechnologie eigenverantwortlich angepackt und dabei Lösungen für Wirtschaft und Gesellschaft entwickelt. Diese präsentierten sie vor gut 300 Gästen aus Politik, Wirtschaft, Wissenschaft und Gesellschaft. Auch zahlreiche Schüler, die sich für ein Studium am Hasso-Plattner-Institut interessieren, waren dafür nach Potsdam gekommen.
