Das HPI sieht sich nicht nur als anerkannten Teil der deutschen Informatiklandschaft, sondern auch als vitalen wissenschaftlichen Akteur am Standort Potsdam. Deshalb haben wir unser 10-jähriges Jubiläum zum Anlass genommen, unsere Potsdamer Wissenschafts“nachbarn“ zu einem Potsdamer Wissenschaftsforum einzuladen. Gemeinsam haben wir sowohl die wissenschaftlichen Entwicklungen der letzten 10 Jahre Revue passieren lassen als auch einen Ausblick auf die in den kommenden 10 Jahren zu erwarteten wissenschaftlichen Herausforderungen im jeweiligen Arbeitsgebiet der einzelnen Einrichtungen am Wissenschaftsstandort Potsdam gewagt: Welche waren die wichtigsten Errungenschaften der letzten 10 Jahre in der Forschung der verschiendenen Fachgebiete und Institutionen? Welche Meilensteine sollen in den kommenden 10 Jahren erreichen werden und wo könnten die Einrichtungen im Jahre 2019 stehen?
