It is possible to provide additional links to a lecture using the new linking functionality of the tele-TASK portal. Every registered user is allowed to add interesting pages to a series or lecture. For example you can link to a wikipedia article which provides informations about a specific technology. We hope, that you will provide interesting links to enrich the knowledge in the portal.
Flash player with new design and functions

The flash player for full lectures is available in a new design. The flexible player for both videos allow to decide in which size the videos should be shown. Furthermore it allows to show the videos in fullscreen mode.

First statistic data is visible on the tele-TASK webpage. You can find a small overview of the available lectures on the top of the news column. Furthermore a statistisc about the elctures of the last two year can be found, when follwing the statistic link.
New Search function

A new search function is available. Starting today you are able to search all objects, getting the results together in one tab. Furthermore the general search look in the whole data of the object for the search term. With that you can easily find, what you are searching for.
When you get to many results, you can still use the smart search to define a more detailed search to get more exact search results.

New main page

In the last days we reworked our main page, to present more information. On the main page you can find different boxes containing the last recordings divided into the areas of the archive.
If your browser supports javascript, you will be able to collapse the boxes. This will help to use the available space more efficiently. We provide these collapsable boxes on other pages as well, to give you more possibilities.

Navigation via Tags

As quite a few users actively take part in creating tags we have now created the possibility to search for tele-TASK recordings via their tags. On the one hand tags can be used as one search criteria in our "Smart Search". On the other hand there is a new menu item "Tags" in the archive menu where you can see the current tag cloud. A click on one of the keywords will lead you to all content that is tagged with this word. For all of you who haven't looked into tagging so far there is a short introduction to it in My tele-TASK "Manage My Tags".

We addede the category summer semester 2010 for lectures from the current semesters. In the next days categories for older semesters will follow. You can find the categories in the archive menu.

To enhance the navigation in the tele-TASK portal, we offer links to other events on our pages for lectures and series. Everyone can conribute to improve the quality of the links. You can use the thumb-up and thumb-down buttons to mark a link as good or bad. We are hoping for an active participation.

Connection of Live Calendar to local Calendar Software

With the actual version of the tele-TASK Live Calendar, it is possible to save coming events for import into your local calendar. Therefore you calendar has to support the ICS standard. Most common programs like Outlook, Mozilla Lightning or the Google Calendar supports it.
So you don't have to worry, that you will miss a comming live webcast.

New Flash Player

The contents of the current semester can also be displayed with a new Flash-Video player. Features of the new player are higher seeking speed, a fullscreen option, and resizable video screens.
