Informationsvisualisierung (WS 2010/11) - tele-TASKhttps://www.tele-task.de/series/814/Graphical inventions and displays are an important external aid that utilize the powerful processing capabilities of the human visual perceptual system to help the human analyst to reveal hidden patterns in large and complex data spaces. This course will take a critical stance into interactive data visualization. Instead of surveying existing approaches, we will discuss basic concepts and skills that contribute to successful analysis of data. This course will also have a focus on how to present information clearly and effectively. The students are required to team-up in groups (two students) to plan and implement a semester project. Each group needs to choose one of the proposed projects. Seminar projects will be presented in a class meeting.High quality e-learning content created with tele-TASK - more than video!
